Terry Fox was a 21 year Canadian who lost his leg to cancer, but was determined to leave a legacy. Despite suffering from this wretched disease and only having one leg, he ran 3339 miles across Canada. Shortly before finishing his incredible journey Terry tragically finally succumbed to his cancer and lost his life. Terry’s story didn’t end there – Terry has now raised over 400 million dollars for Cancer Research. This Terry Fox memorial video was produced by TELUS in partnership with the Terry Fox Foundation. It was created for the BC Place Terry Fox Memorial. It plays on a screen behind Douglas Coupland’s Terry statues. Are you inspired by Terry? If so, share this post and inspire others.
