Today America celebrates our amazing veterans. No one sums up how incredible these brave men and women are more than 25 year-old Kyle Carpenter. Kyle should not be alive today. But he is, and he wears his scars with pride. After nearly 40 surgeries and two and a half years in the hospital, he got back to fighting shape and completed the Marine Corps Marathon. This summer, Kyle became the second living Marine since the Vietnam War to receive the nation’s highest military decoration — the Medal of Honor.
